This, like the character profiles, features (or more appropriately, *will* feature) both official summaries from the Stand Alone Complex website, and my own thoughts in the episode. Unfortunately at the moment my memory isn't clear enough for me to comment on more than a few episodes, but I'll be re-watching the entire series (at least one ep a week ^^;) so hopefully this seciton will get filled up soon ^_^'.

Episode 1 - Section Nine (Stand Alone)
Official: When Section 9 are summoned to resolve a hostage crisis at an establishment staffed by android geisha, they also uncover a plot to steal sensitive documents from a government minister.

Episode 2 - Testation (Stand Alone)
Official: When a rogue Tachikoma tank takes off for a remote village after a destructive spree at a Kenbishi Industries testing facility, Section Nine must stop it and determine the source of the malfunction.
Personal Thoughs: Erm...I don't know about the official site, but if I recall correctly, I don't think it was a Tachikoma tank that went rogue...

Episode 3 - Android and I (Stand Alone)
Official: After a handful of obsolete androids apparently commit suicide, Major Kusanagi discovers a virus inserted into the manufacturer’s mainframe. But who would want to destroy androids and why?

Episode 4 - Interceptor (Complex)
Official: Togusa receives a call from an old friend and is drawn into a high-level conspiracy involving government graft and a mysterious computer hacker with a grudge.

Episode 5 - Decoy (Complex)
Official: With only 36 hours to stop an assassination attempt against the Superintendent General, Section Nine finds themselves in a dangerous waiting game, while investigation into the Laughing Man case unearths a potential decoy who may be masking corruption within the police department.

Episode 6 - Meme (Complex)
Official: Kusanagi and Pazu have their work cut out for them as the Laughing Man virus activates an army of attackers in rapid succession all targeting the Superintendent General.

Episode 7 - Idolator (Stand Alone)
Official: Section Nine's surveillance of a foreign revolutionary leader with potential ties to illegal drugs uncovers an interesting new method for attaining eternal youth.

Episode 8 - Missing Hearts (Stand Alone)
Official: A young girl discovers her newly transplanted heart may have come from a less-than-legitimate source, spurring Kusanagi to undertake a personal crusade.

Episode 9 - Chat Chat Chat (Complex)
Official: Kusanagi eavesdrops on a futuristic chat room dedicated to the crimes committed by the Laughing Man, only to discover several of the chatroom participants aren't what they seem to be.
Personal Thoughs: Ah, this is an episode I remember well. A lot of talk to keep up with, but on the whole really interesting. Great background on the old Laughing Man case, and leads on the new developments as well. Interesting to see that LM has his fanboys.

Episode 10 - Jungle Cruise (Stand Alone)
Official: Batou must come to terms with a dark chapter from his own past when he is called upon to track down a brutal serial killer.

Episode 11 - Portraitz (Complex)
Official: Togusa is sent to investigate a mysterious government facility for the treatment of 'cyberbrain closed shell syndrome.' What he encounters may hold the key to the Laughing Man mystery.

Episode 12 - Escape From (Stand Alone)
Official: Batou's Tachikoma goes AWOL and encounters a young girl searching for her lost dog, while a discarded cyberbrain leads Kusanagi on a soul-searching ghost dive.

Official: When Section Nine attempts to recover a young girl kidnapped 16 years ago by an anti-cybertech, things take a turn for the weird.
